The Lucid Motors Air Should Overcome Tesla

Expect a real Tesla killer from the Lucid Motors Air.

The Lucid Air has got the biggest battery pack in around the automotive globe. It features an optional 130-kWh battery that should deliver a fully-electric range of 400 miles. According to the automaker, a 100-kWh battery is regular, but we don’t know what range that offering provides.

The innovated high-end sedan should fill the sports, luxury and commuter needs of customers. The model’s electric motors combined offer 1,000 hp. The vehicle is able to accelerate 0-60 in only 2.5 seconds.

Autonomous technology is also available for the vehicle under consideration. Expect to see it with cameras, Lidar and short and long radar.

But what is the price? It should be more than $100,000. However, the automaker agrees to deliver a “more budget” offering with a price tag of $65,000.

The Lucid Air will be produced in 2018 in Arizona.
