Tesla Cybertruck pickup will receive a redesign soon

Tesla Motors will present the Cybertruck electric pickup truck in a different design at the end of 2020.

So said the director of the company Elon Musk on his Twitter.

The premiere of the Tesla Cybertruck pickup took place exactly a year ago. The press met the car ambiguously. For example, the prototype of a brand new electric vehicle was criticized for its primitiveness. Also, doubts have affected the car's all-metal body, which may be unsafe for the rest of the vehicle during an accident.

To date, Tesla has received more than half a million preliminary bids for Cybertruck. The serial version of the car expects for the last months of next year — the minimum vehicle costs $49,000.

The novelty will appear in 3 main versions: with 1, 2, or 3 electric motors. In the initial version, the unit accelerates to "hundred" in 6.5 seconds, and the car with three engines, Tri Motor, gains "hundred" in 2.9 seconds. The declared cruising range is 400-800 km.
