Tesla became the best-selling brand in major markets around the globe.

According to the analysis, Tesla was the most popular brand in different markets around the globe since January to September of this year. However, it does not have the best-selling offering.

The aforementioned analysis was conducted by JATO Dynamics. It classified key markets as: the U.K., the U.S., France, Austria, Finland, Belgium, Denmark, Canada, Czech Republic, Chile, Croatia, Australia, China, Taiwan, Norway, Switzerland, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Russia, Turkey, Slovenia, Germany, New Zealand, Greece, Netherlands, Ireland, Mexico, Italy, Malaysia, Korea and Japan.

The first as for the best-selling model is China’s BAIC EC (with 227,000 EVs sold). The second is the U.S. market (with 61,000 EVs sold).
