Saleen Gives New Names for the Tesla Variant S Packages
The Saleen-adjusted Tesla Model S which has name the “Foursixteen” before has gained a new name.
Saleen has chosen to change the naming convention based on the Tesla Model S when the American electric company has disclosed the P85D which is more powerful and has 691 hp now. The name Foursixteen was originally applied to the Model S P85’s producing 416 hp now outputting the 691 hp P85E, the adjuster has continued with ST380 and ST691 to determine its custom Model S variants. ST is shortening for Saleen Tesla. It will be available on the regular P85 offering from $132,000 at the same time when the ST681 using the Tesla Model S P85D will have price of $164,600.
The outfit packages for the Model S will become more aggressive in design. There also will be new suspension updates, a modified cabin with 2+2 seating, innovated final back ratios, locking drive rears and carbon ceramic braking system. As to the adjuster, the ST691 will be able to hit 60 mph from a standstill in less than three seconds or a several ticks faster than the production mark 3.2.
