Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster Is Riding In Space
SpaceX, Elon Musk’s company has launched the Falcon Heavy rocket on February 7. The successful launch happened at 3:45 p.m.
The rocked carried Elon’s personal Roadster from Tesla into space. The goal is to put the vehicle into the orbit of Mars.
The Falcon Heavy rocket originates on the Falcon 9 rocket. We remind you that Space X has already tested the Falcon 9 with good success before the launch. Usually rocket test flights deal with a dead weight to simulate the mass of a satellite or a different type of operational payload.
Elon considered this to be boring and provided his own Tesla Roadster as a payload. We agree with Musk, it is much more interesting watching his roadster in space than watching some cement blocks.
The Falcon Heavy launch worked properly. The car is in space now and is heading for Mars. Watch the rocket’s launch in the official company’s video. You can also follow the Roadster via the Starman stream.
