Deliveries of Tesla Model X begin on September 29
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has stated that the deliveries of the latest Model X will start on September 29.
He has already confirmed sometime earlier in 2015 that an official start-up of the car will happen this September. This information was found out from an official letter sent to the company shareholders. Now he announced that the first production vehicles will be sold to the clients who have already reserved Tesla’s first SUV. Just visit the Freemont plant on September 29.
Tesla’s CEO reveals that the Model X has the familiar options and is $5k more than an S offering because of complexity of body and larger size. Meanwhile, he reports that the Sig Series is fully loaded and that’s why its price is higher. The Signature Series costs starting from $132,000. It is equipped with a 90-kWh battery set-up. The regular equipment for it spreads over Autopilot self-parking option, two flat-folding seats for adults in the third row, leather seats with cooling and heating options and Falcon Wing rear doors.
Musk stated sometime earlier in September that the automaker will present its entry-level Model 3 next March. It will cost starting from $35,000.
