Price for the 2017 Subaru WRX creeps up
The next year’s Subaru WRX is facing a slight price bump. The vehicle can be obtained in regular, Premium and Limited trims. Its price will kick off from $27,515 together with destination.
That’s a $100 increase in comparison with the previous offering. The premium trim line will cost $29,815. Meanwhile a CVT will be available for extra $1,200. The most luxury Limited trim offers leather upholstery, an 8-way power driver’s seat and welcome lighting. Low-beam headlights from LED provide an exclusive outlook and enhanced visibility.
The regular WRX is equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged Boxer V4 engine. It is able to produce 268 hp.
People who want more performance can choose the 2017 Subaru WRX STI. Its price kicks off from $36,015. This offering is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged Boxer unit generating 305 hp. The WRX STI Limited version equipped with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Push Button Start with PIN Code Access and Keyless Access.
The next year’s WRX and WRX STI cars will reach dealerships sometime in summer.
