The New Korando Sport Pick-Up Will Be Named Ssangyong Musso

Ssangyong from South Korea introduces the innovated Musso pick-up in Britain.

If to translate the name from Korean, it will mean rhinoceros. This discussed car is a replacement to the Kolando Sport pick-up in the range. The automaker wanted to exclude a possible confusion between this car and the Korando crossover.

The Musso is still very similar to the outgoing offering. However, it is equipped with an innovated 2.2-litre V4 diesel unit. The powerplant is able to output 176 hp and torque of 295 pound-feet. You will be able to choose between the 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.

This vehicle also features an updated rear suspension with a multi-link set-up along with coil springs. The ride will be more car-like with these upgrades.

The company offers its child in two trims. The base SE will weigh 15.995 pounds ($19,590) without value-added tax. The more beautiful EX will be fitted with roof rails, black 18-inch wheels, heated seats, running lights from LED, a 7-inch infotainment set-up and automatic climate control. It will be 17,995 pounds ($22,028) without VAT. It will be fitted with the manual gearbox. If you want an automatic gearbox, your car will weigh 18,995 pounds ($23,270). The vehicles will be marketed in the United Kingdom in October.
