The new Skoda Octavia RS became known by characteristics

A document circulated by the Austrian office of Skoda, where there is specific information on the new "charged" liftback and the Octavia RS wagon, has been distributed via the Internet.

The debut of the car will happen at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

The gasoline version of the new car will acquire a 2.0-liter "turbo four" at 245 hp. The engine operates with a 6-speed "mechanics" or with a 7-band "robot" for two clutches.

The diesel Octavia RS will have a 2.0-liter 200-horsepower unit with a "robot". For Austria, the novelty will appear from this August.

Skoda Octavia RS, for the first time, acquires a hybrid installation, which is recharged from a household outlet. Perhaps the installation will include a 1.4-liter "turbo-four," an electric motor, a set of batteries, and a "robot" with two clutches.

In total, the engines give out 245 horsepower and 400 Nm. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 7 seconds. The electric range in terms of field is about 50 km.
