Skoda's first serial electric vehicle officially announced

Skoda has distributed the teaser of a first commercial electric vehicle in its history.

The novelty basis on Citicar platform. The official debut will take place on May 23 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Most likely, the auto range is slightly more than 300 km. All other alleged details are still classified.

The head of Skoda, Bernhard Maier, said recently that electric cars will differ in design from simple cars. 'Green' cars will acquire a special LED strip, combining headlights, but dividing the radiator into 2 halves.

For 2020, Skoda has scheduled the presentation of its first serial electric SUV. The prototype of Vision iV 2019 will serve as a base in the car. Next, Skoda will present home charging special stations. Until the end of 2022, the Czechs will have more than 30 new products in the line-up, 10 of which will have a hybrid or fully electric installation.
