Skoda goes into the production first electric car

Skoda starts the serial production of its first Citigo iV electric car.

New items are assembled at the Volkswagen plant in Bratislava, Slovakia. The car is only available in a 5-door version in Ambition or Style trim levels.

The car is 3,597 m in length and 1,645 m in height. Having folded the seatbacks at the rear, the luggage compartment has grown in volume from 250 to 923 liters. The machine is equipped with an electric motor with 83 horsepower and 210 Nm. The engine allows the compact to accelerate to the "hundred" in 12.5 seconds at a maximum speed of 130 km/h.

The power unit is powered by a 36.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack located under the floor. The maximum mileage on one charge is 265 km.
