Skoda Octavia RS debuted in liftback and wagon
Skoda showed the “hot” liftback and wagon Octavia RS in the fourth generation in the photo.
The public premiere of new products did not take place at the Geneva motor show because of the coronavirus. The company showed the cars in the photo. Most likely, they will be engaged in their sales this fall. The price tags are still unknown.
For the first time, Octavia RS has acquired a hybrid installation with a possible recharge of batteries from a simple power supply. A car will appear on sale with the name vRS iV. This car has a “turbo-four” 1.4 liters and an electric motor. A total of 245 hp, which allows accelerating to the “hundred” in 7.3 seconds. Power reserve on electric traction - within 60 km.
The differences from the standard Octavia are 19-inch alloy wheels, a full bumper, a black radiator, a sports exhaust system with two trapezoidal pipes, a spoiler, and a diffuser. Still, vRS got red brake calipers together with LED optics.
The salon received brand new electrically adjustable seats, a sports steering wheel, and aluminum pedals. The driver gets at his disposal a 10-inch multimedia sensor, adaptive cruise, 3-zone climate, parking sensors front and rear, as well as a keyless entry system.
After a while, the new Skoda Octavia RS will receive versions with traditional engines on gasoline and diesel.
