Skoda Fabia hatchback new generation declassified more

Skoda released official photos of the veiled prototype of Fabia hatchback of the fourth generation and spoke about the car's main technical characteristics.

The premiere demonstration of the car will occur at the end of 2021.

Skoda Fabia will be made on the MQB-A0 architecture from Volkswagen AG. The length of the hatchback will reach 4.107 meters and wheelbase - 2.564 meters. The trunk volume will grow up to 380 liters, with folded back seats - up to 1190 liters.

The new Fabia also will become the most aerodynamic car in the class: the drag coefficient will be reduced from 0.32 to 0.28.

The base motor in the new Fabia is a 3-cylinder "atmospheric" petrol 1.0 liters, which is available in two power options: 65 and 80 "horses." The transmission will be a 5-speed manual transmission. Also, expect the appearance of supercharged versions of the engine at 95 and 110 hp capacity.

The top unit will be a 1.5 liter 150 hp turbo-four with 250 Nm of torque. This motor will be paired with a 7-step "robot" with two clutches.

The list of available options includes a virtual dashboard, LED lighting, and nine airbags, plus 50 useful solutions from the Simply Clever range.
