Release of Skoda Octavia Scout Is Planned for 2014

By the end of summer Europe will see Skoda Octavia Scout ready for sale.

Octavia Scout, an off-highway variant of Octavia SW, decided to play rough and not cover wheelarch and both bumpers with a coat of paint. Boot is also 0,78 inch higher than that of its crosstown mate. Buyers will be able to choose Scout with front-wheel and four-wheel drive.

The type of engine has not been announced yet. It is expected that no innovations will be made in this area.

Skoda is in the process of developing a luxury Octavia. The line will be released by Laurin & Klement, a traditional nickname for Skoda’s power performance key models.

The limited edition car will feature custom leather seats, a cabin with chrome and wood elements, and a new design variant of dashboard with redesigned dials. The exterior of Laurin & Klement will present xenon headlamps, rear lamps with LED, and 18-inch aluminium-magnesium wheels.

At the beginning of this year Laurin & Klement offered its variant of Skoda Yeti.
