New Skoda Octavia RS declassified before the premiere
The Czech online forum OctaviaClub has distributed the first pictures of the “hot” RS modification of the fourth-generation Octavia liftback.
The car will officially debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The pictures show that the top version of the new product differs from the standard one in other bumpers, wheel disks, red brake calipers, and two exhaust pipes in a rectangular shape.
On the eve, it became known that Skoda will equip the new Octavia RS with a hybrid installation, and this will be the first time for the model. Most likely, this is a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine that works with an electric motor. The total capacity will be made at the level of 250 “horses.”
Photos of an off-road version of the new Octavia, the Scout wagon, have also spread around the Internet. The car has a wholly reconfigured suspension with higher ground clearance, as well as reinforced plastic protection for the lower body.
