New Skoda Fabia will debut in early 2021
Skoda has decided to launch a new generation of compact car Fabia in the first months of next year.
According to Autocar's publication, auto sales in European countries will start "long before the end of 2021".
The novelty is based on the MQB A0 architecture, which is also used in the Seat Ibiza and Volkswagen Polo. The design of the car will remind Skoda Kamiq, Scala, and Octavia. The compact hatchback will also have Skoda's new infotainment system.
The motor line includes gasoline 3-cylinder "aspirated" with supercharged engines, working with "mechanics" or "robot" with 2 clutches. More expensive versions of the model will have 4-cylinder engines.
Skoda does not plan to introduce diesel types into the newest Fabia and make "charged" versions. Yet the Czech company did not intend to make a hybrid or electric version of the Fabia, but, according to rumors, "green" modifications are still worth expecting.
