Envisioned Previews of 2015 Skoda Superb
The innovated Skoda-Superb has been speculatively envisioned for the last time before its official presentation in February.
The new model is larger and has more space than its base, the Volkswagen Passat B8. The vehicle will be offered to customers who make an accent on the more upscale product produced by its German sibling remaining with the higher price. A digital envisioning shown here is based on the last spy images. It has influences of the VisionC concept.
This speculative envisioning presents an essentially refined styling and a bigger size in comparison with the worked out Superb. The automaker has already stated that it is 20mm longer and its wheelbase is 80mm wider. The Czech flagship offering will weigh almost 75 kg (or 165 lbs) less than the previous model. Some weight will be lost due to the axing the dual trunk opening.
It will be a VW Passat under the hood. Therefore, the same engine line-up, four-wheel drive and all-wheel drive layouts and gear boxes should be expected. Skoda has partially showed the interior. Alike the exterior, it will not stray away from the regulars produced under Volkswagen umbrella.
For the customers who find the innovated vehicle dull, the automaker left several hints on a probable sportier derivative. It could be launched later in the course of the vehicle’s lifespan, though it will not be a vRS offering. Skoda has stated that the overhauled Superb will be presented sometime this month.
