The first Seat plug-in hybrid will debut soon
Seat presented a hybrid version of the flagship Tarraco SUV, which can be recharge from the mains.
Auto is the first plug-in hybrid car in Spanish history. Additionally, this is the first such SUV in the Volkswagen brand line that doesn't belong to the premium segment.
Seat Tarraco PHEV is driven by a propulsion system, which includes a 150-horsepower 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine that operates with a 116-hp electric motor. Electric motor energy comes from a set of lithium-ion batteries for 13-kilowatt-hours. Together, 245 "horses" of power obtained.
The hybrid manages to accelerate to the "hundred" in 7.4 seconds, while the maximum speed is 217 km/h. One electric traction allows the car to cover 50 km.
The interior of the novelty has front sports seats with electric adjustments and a memory function. Another cross received a new generation KFM with a 9.2-inch sensor and navigator.
The public showcase of the hybrid Seat Tarraco will take place in a couple of weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
