SEAT might launch a Subcompact Crossover in Two Years
According to a new report, SEAT is going to present a subcompact crossover in two years.
Automotive News Europe writes about a Spanish company’s current work on a subcompact crossover. This crossover is expected to be launched in two years. It will boost sales by capitalizing on the SUV boom. There is no much information at this moment. Though, the vehicle under consideration will probably use a short variant of the MQB platform. It also could remind a production version of the VW Taigun concept which will be ready next year.
The automaker will also launch a compact crossover in 2016. At the same time, a bigger SUV of mid-size, which was previewed by the 20V20 concept, will see the world till the end of the decade. The three offerings are in the automaker’s turnaround plan as VW has promised to invest at least €4.2 billion in the company till 2019.
