Leon ST 4Drive from SEAT Presented in Vienna
Vienna became the release site of new Leon ST 4Drive.
The new model, which will be available in dealerships in three months, features four-wheel drive equipped with an innovative multi-plate clutch known to be very responsive to any drive input thus coming as extremely dynamic and safe. The larger part of the power is directed to the front, but, if needed, rear wheels can assume the power in less than a second.
Two engine solutions are presented for the model. The smaller one has the capacity of 1.6 litres and amounts to 105 hp and torque of 184 lb-ft. It takes this variant 12 seconds to reach 100 km/h. Maximum speed is 116 mph. Fuel consumption efficiency totals 62.7 mpg and environmental figures are set to 124 g/km of CO2 emissions.
The larger engine boasts 2.0-litre capacity producing 150 hp, quicker acceleration to 100 km/h (less than 9 seconds) and higher maximum speed – 131 mph. Another benefit of the model is advanced fuel consumption efficiency mated with boosted powertrain – only 58.8 mpg are needed for it, though it emits 124 g/km of CO2.
