Fiat Chrysler And Cummins Are Having Diesel Allegations
According to the latest lawsuit, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Cummins misled clients with diesel-powered Ram trucks on purpose.
The case was filed in federal court (Detroit) by a law firm based in Seattle. There are 2 points being enlightened in the complaint. However, the firm, Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro is seeking to bring the other owners into the case.
The thing is that the particulate emissions from the Ram cars equipped with diesel engines were higher than the ones announced by the company. The lawsuit claims that this cheating caused catalytic converters to wear out. This led to trucks consuming more fuel.
FCA agreed to review the complaints, but it does not believe this is true. Besides, FCA is amid a recall that was forced by California Air Resources Board and American Environmental Protection Agency.
