Three powerful Porsche models battle it out on the track (VIDEO)
Porsche staged a race involving the Taycan Turbo-electric car, the 911 GT3 RS sports car, and the 911 GT3 Cup GT3 Cup track car.
The company held the race at Sandown International Raceway near Melbourne, Australia.
Professional drivers drove the Porsche cars. Two heats were held, in which Taycan started 3.4 seconds earlier and GT3 RS 2 seconds earlier. The electric car finished first in both cases.
By the way, the Taycan is Porsche's first production electric car. The electric vehicle's entry-level version has two versions: a 530-horsepower version with a 79.2 kWh battery pack and a 571-horsepower version with a 93.4 kWh battery pack. Top performances are also available in two versions; 680 hp and 500 kW and 761 hp and 560 kW. The electric saloon has a top speed of 260 km/h.
