Porsche Marks 60 Years of Sport Vehicles with Museum Expo
Porsche is marking 60 years of sports vehicles with a fresh expo at its museum.
The event will run until March 17, 2014 and all the fans will be able to see eternal classics, some of which have never been showed to the public. One of those rare Porsche cars on display is the first-ever 550 Spyder to be purchased by a private client, a model that was assigned to racer Kurt Ahrens in January 1955.
Another fabulous Porsche joining the expo is the 904 Carrera GTS, a vehicle that secured over 300 racing wins from 1963 to the mid-1970s. Additionally, the only 911 Turbo RS model in the world is at the Porsche Museum, commissioned by star conductor Herbert von Karajan.
The Porsche Museum which is based in Stuttgart, Germany is available 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Tuesday through Sunday.
