2018 Peugeot 308 GTi Can Be Seen On Twitter
The next year’s 308 GTi from Peugeot accidentally leaked on Twitter in 1 picture.
The original tweet has been taken away since then. It shows the upgraded hot hatchback in the company’s signature 2-tone colour scheme.
The 308 GTi received a black version of the more upright front enclosure and large intakes in the bumper like the standard upgraded 308 range. There also is a revised bonnet.
We did not manage to see the rear view, but the unit will probably receive similar LED taillamps and an innovated bumper at the back to the core range.
The 1.6-litre turbocharged V4 petrol unit to solider on underneath the bonnet, It will feature some more power than the regular 250 hp and 270 hp units.
The vehicle will probably be equipped with the 6-speed manual gearbox and FWD set-up. The offering with more power will receive a Torsen limited-slip front differential.
