Nurburgring Leakage of Alleged Special Edition of Pagani Huayra
During a routine test drive Pagani Huayra was caught by the spy cameras and gave reasons for speculations about a special edition.
The Italian brand was the first to mention a race variant of Huayra name of which refers to Nürburgring track. Test mule which made an internet appearance is a spitting image of the standard offering. However, there is one peculiar detail: cables from the engine are connected somewhere in the cab, perhaps to a computer control system.
Nürburgring Edition, whatever it turns out to be, will be assembled in a limited amount not exceeding 25 cars. Naturally, as each race vehicle, the model will lose much weight due to implementation of light materials and minimal cab equipment. The vehicle is also expected to carry a more powerful motor than 12-cylinder AMG packed into a standard version cranking out amazing 700 hp and torque of 737 lb-ft. Special edition is also supposed to be quicker and outrun a standard offering in its 3.3-second sprint to 62 mph.
If Pagani plans to repeat the path of Zonda, Huayra will face quite a lot of special editions.
