Opel Astra sixth-generation officially debuted

Opel has officially declassified the new generation of the Opel Astra, the sixth generation. 

The novelty will compete with Golf, Focus, Megane, Octavia, and Peugeot 308.

The car is based on the EMP2. The length of the car is 4.374 meters (models added 4 mm), width - 1.86 meters (+51 mm), with a wheelbase of 2.675 meters (+13 mm). It turns out the new Astra exceeds the size of the fifth generation.

The exterior of the Astra is different from its previous version, but the compact hatchback has added features of a coupe. The car's interior has a digital combination of instruments on the front panel and a 10-inch infotainment system screen. The vehicle will please with many modern technologies, such as cruise control and Stop & Go function.

No information about power units. It will be possible to order Opel Astra of sixth-generation this fall, and the first deliveries will begin in early 2022.
