Sound Of Nissan EV
Electric vehicles are good at maintaining silence while driving.
Producers moving into the electric car space must give them artificial “notes” to warn pedestrians who can be busy on their phones.
Therefore, Nissan stated their cars will have a sound. It is called “Canto”. From Latin it means “I sing”. Canto is the artificial noise that the branded electric cars will produce at inner-urban speeds (the pedestrians are most in danger there).
The sound is variable in tone and pitch. This variation depends on whether the car is accelerating, backing up or decelerating. The sound can be activated at speeds of 30 km/h. The pedestrians will not be overly disturbed by the level.
