Outlook of the GC-PHEV Concept from Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi is showing its future at the 2015 Auto Show in Chicago.
The Japanese producer is showing the GC-PHEV concept which is a hybrid full-size crossover having design cues influencing future producer’s offerings. The vehicle’s powering will probably be present in a possible next-generation hybrid engine from the automaker. The model is equiped with a 3.0-litre supercharged six-cylinder powertrain joined to an eight-speed gear box and an electric motor. All this gives a combined output of 335 hp.
The manufacturer has presented a concept form of the GC-PHEV which is able to reach up to 35 mpg and has electricc-only driving range of more than 25 miles. The concept has received four-wheel drive. The producer says that the GC-PHEV can deliver almost 1,500 watts of electricity under the conditions of the full tank and battery.
