New Mini Cooper 2023 declassified in pictures

The electric car Mini Cooper SE is currently being tested.

The new generation Mini Cooper will retain its iconic retro design as well as the electric version.

Local paparazzi caught the novelty on tests in the UK. Hatch should debut in early 2023. 

As writes Auto express, the new Mini Cooper passes tests in tight camouflage, but a particular car design is visible.

The Cooper 2023 will get branded round headlights with a familiar silhouette, but the windshield is slightly increased in angle. The hatch will be more compact than the current version, thanks to reduced body overhangs. The basis for the car is the new FAAR architecture.

The novelty will get gasoline and diesel units, plus there will be an electric version.
