MINI Clubman S was transformed into a Boombox on Wheels
Mac Audio has modified a 1st-gen MINI Clubman S into a true mobile boombox.
The vehicle hi-fi specialists equipped it with at least 3 power amplifiers, 2 subwoofers which will take care of deep frequencies and 4 loudspeakers. The vehicle can boast lots of other related with radio tweaks. There are an extra SP 1000 battery, Audiovox DAB+100 module, 2 Mac Audio Cap 1.2 Farad condensers and a head unit.
The famous cabin benefits from Recaro Sportster CS seats. The interior matches the outside with a JCW-sourced body package and 18-inch wheels. The wheels have 215/35 R18 Yokohama S-Drive AS01 rubber components. A special livery was also added. Moreover, Wimmer Rennsporttechnik was contriving the motor’s electronics. He also transformed the exhaust system. In such a way, the engine is capable of generating 230 hp (or 169 kW) and torque of 365 Nm. The tuned Clubman S can reach its top speed of 148 mph (or 239 km/h) with these improvements.
