Detroit Features a Concept of Mini John Cooper Works
January will see the debut of a concept of Mini John Cooper Works.
Today the company has published the update on the concept. The latter turns out to stem from Mini hatchback released in 2014 and feature alloy wheels 18 inches in diameter.
No information has been revealed about the engine yet, but there is a great chance that JCW will resemble Cooper S model with its petrol engine for 2.0 litres and four cylinders.
The new Mini is an obviously larger brother of the previous variant which, according to Mini, has developed a better driving performance.
The air intakes and LED highlights of the car will also be larger, as well as grille surround and a front bumper. Car sides will feature new skirts flan, diffuser and rear apron will be modified and a new exhaust characteristic of sports car will be added.
Rear spoiler combined with additional body details are meant to increase aerodynamics of the concept car.
Mini prefers to call the new JCW model a concept only, but the chances of putting it into production are high.
