2015 Paceman Release from MINI Presented in China
This year’s auto show in Beijing became the debut event for the remodelled 2015 Paceman from MINI.
The British brand has already conducted the second premiere since 2015 Countryman which was presented in New York earlier this year. Renovated Paceman will appear in dealerships this summer along with a special edition variant. The model shares some external traces with Hardtop and Countryman. Engineers developed four engine options for the new Paceman – a pair on petrol and a pair on diesel – united by similar characteristics including a V4 technology at turbo 1.6-litre mills. Special edition John Cooper Works variant will develop 218 hp and torque of 207 lb-ft.
Cooper S modification will enjoy the exactly same engine with lower power figures – that of 190 hp and torque of 177 lb-ft connected to four-wheel drive. Standard offering, having the same physical characteristics under the bonnet, will put out approximately 70 hp and lb-ft less.
Torque figure will be boosted for D modification and reach almost 200 lb-ft with the hp index staying at 112-mark. Finally, SD Paceman will enjoy more potent propulsion of 2.0 litres cranking out 143 hp and torque of 225 lb-ft. Models with diesel motors will obtain a four-wheel drive with a corresponding design.
