Upgrades for the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA
The next year’s Mercedes-Benz GLA crossover is receiving a whole bunch of updates on its infotainment system and regular amenities.
The next year’s Mercedes-Benz GLA receives infotainment tweaks thankfully to a new bigger 7-inch display. It has pre-wiring for Garmin Map Pilot navigation and a media interface. Besides, it boasts new HD Voice for compatible mobile devices. It is supposed to make the sound of voices clearer. New regular features spread on seat cushion length adjustment, Keyless Start and dual-zone climate control set-up.
Customers will have a chance to get optional packages. They were reconfigured for the next model year. Keyless-Go became a part of the Premium pack, but can be obtained as a standalone option. The Rear View Camera can function in 180-degrees. A power passenger seat can be obtained as a standalone option. Multi-colour Ambient Lighting can be ordered separately or included with the Interior pack for 2016.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged V4 unit of the AMG GLA45 will be boosted to 375 hp and torque of 350 pound-feet. The regular CLA250 still uses a 2.0-litre turbo-four motor generating 208 hp and torque of 258 lb-ft. The engine is matched with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The vehicle is able to accelerate 0-60 mph in 7.1 seconds and return 35 mpg on the highway. As to the CLA45, it sprints quicker at 4.3 seconds.
