Top 3 of November Sales: BMW, Mercedes, Audi
New compact Mercedes-Benz won the company its sales advantage over crosstown by Audi last month making it second best luxury car after BMW.
Silver and bronze companies fought in a close competition: Audi resulted in 132,050 items sold worldwide, while Mercedes moved 133,441 vehicles of different kinds, inclusive of SUVs. Both carmakers improved their figures in comparison with the same period last year, still a gap to gold was hard to bridge – the leader of sales races is BMW with its 149,663 cars.
This year BMW has sold 1.49 million items so far. Second best is Audi with 50,000 cars less. Mercedes-Benz turned out to be third in this index - 1.32 million items were sold this year.
In spite of winning only bronze in yearly figures, Mercedes-Benz shows a confident growth of monthly sales July through November compared to last year neither of its German competitors can boast of. A great merit of this advantage is attributed to A-class hatchback and CLA coupé with four doors.
