It was known that the car will debut in December, though, a new Autocar report states that the vehicle will arrive already in September.
Our source says that the innovated two-door variant will be sleeker that the S-Class Coupe with a more pleasant styling. Design director explained that it will be better to drive the car than to look at it. The new model will be the third member of the C-Class range and will be placed after the sedan and estate. After the Coupe presentation, the producer will also take masks off a convertible variant of the offering.
It looks like the options for engine for the car will be the same as in the regular C-Class. This gives us an opportunity to imagine that the model will be equipped with a 2.0-litre V4 engine producing 241 hp (or 179 kW) or a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 generating 329 hp (or 245 kW). The topping AMG variant will receive a twin-turbo 4.0-litre eight-cylinder engine which will produce more than 469 hp (or 350 kW) and torque of 479 lb-ft (or 650 Nm).
