Mercedes-Benz EQS has a hefty price tag
Mercedes-Benz has announced the price of its new electric flagship sedan, the EQS.
Sales of the car are scheduled to start this September.
The standard configuration of the model with rear-wheel drive is minimally priced at 106,374 euros. For the all-wheel-drive version EQS 580, the price is 134,500 euros.
The available options are adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping system, blind-spot monitoring, and auto lane change system. The company asks for 45,000 euros in total for all these options. It turns out that the sedan with all the equipment will cost 180,000 euros.
The standard version is equipped with an electric motor on the rear axle. The top configuration drives two electric motors with a total power of 524 hp. The maximum speed of the car is 210 km/h. The Mercedes-Benz EQS can travel 640-770 km on a single power reserve.
