Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet Reveals Production Open Air in Last Spy Photos
Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet of the 2016 prototype was spied during its testing with the manufacturing-spec vinyl roof.
The open top C-Class is going to come out in 2015. It will gain a multi-layered vinyl roof. The styling will likely be reminding its larger relative, the E-Class Cabriolet. It will probably be grounded on the future C-Class Coupe. If to compare the offering with the regular sedan, it will be with a measurably smaller trunk.
Spy photos cannot be seen now, though in July it was possible to see a maquette of the cabin which was exhibited at the automaker’s museum in Stuttgart. The layout of the cabin reminded that of the sedan and estate, though the seats were of different shape. There also were additory control buttons for the roof and side windows. The model will gain the AIRSCARF heating on the neck level and AIRCAP systems of air-deflection to all these. In the same time the powertrain line-up will be extendedly carried over from the current estate and sedan.
There are rumours that the Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cabriolet will be disclosed in September of the next year at the Motor Show in Frankfurt. There is no any information about the C-Class Coupe, which should have been introduced in front its open air relative. AMG variants of both coupe and cabriolet body designs will be revealed in few months.
