Mercedes-AMG Proves That Wagons Are Not Outdated
The E63 S Wagon from Mercedes-AMG produces 603 hp and torque of 627 pound-feet.
Wagons seem to appear less and less within America. SUVs and crossovers take their place. However, Mercedes-AMG is not going to leave the market. The regular E400 4MATIC Wagon will reach dealerships this spring. The high-performance AMG E^# S version will join it this autumn. Expect to see a 4.0-litre biturbo eight-cylinder unit under the hood. The engine is joined to a 9-speed AMGSpeedshift MCT sport transmission. The car is able to sprint to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 180 hp.
Sure, the powerplant is bolstered by AMG Performance 4MATIC+$WD set-up. It combines the best things taken from different drive configurations.
Expect the next year’s E63 S Wagon from Mercedes-AMG to air at this year’s Motor Show held in Geneva.
