Geneva, Welcome GT4 Concept Sedan From Mercedes-AMG!
A concept sedan is branded as Mercedes-AMG GT4. According to the reports, it will be presented at the motor show held in Geneva this March. In such a way, the tuner’s 50th anniversary will start.
Different source told that the GT4 concept features a shape of a 5-door variant of the company’s GT coupe. The CT4 concept should preview a new and outstanding offering for the Mercedes-AMG sub-brand.
The GT will not use the vehicle’s bespoke platform. The production model will ride on the front engine, rear-wheel drive MRA architecture that the producer applies for all its cars from the C- to the S-Class.
The vehicle will receive power from AMG’s 4.0-litre turbocharged eight-cylinder. There also can be a 3.0-litre turbo six-cylinder. The eight-cylinder unit can be matched with a 48V electrical set-up, a 4-wheel drive with drift mode and a small electric motor.
The production variant should be marketed during the next year.
