McLaren will prepare 18 new products for 7 years
At McLaren Automotive announced plan for the development of a model line by 2025.
According to the document Track25, over the next 7 years the company will make 18 new products and each supercar will be additionally hybrid. Even in the development will be new management systems with high-performance battery systems, providing up to 30 minutes of driving on a racing track.
£50m will be spent on the construction of McLaren Composites Technology Center (MCTC), a department for the development and production of a new generation of lightweight composite materials. The company wants to make up to 57% of components in future machines in the UK.
Until 2025 McLaren will make 18 novelties and modifications to existing models. All cars will be assembled at the McLaren Production Center in Woking.
Track25 is a replacement for Track22, approved 2 years ago, by which, until 2022, McLaren wanted to build 15 new products.
