McLaren told why the GT supercar is unique
Unique trim materials can be considered one of the main McLaren GT features.
To create the atmosphere of a "big journey," the company used high-tech SuperFabric textiles, created initially for the aerospace industry.
Each material used in the interior of the McLaren GT will turn out to be lightweight, durable, and also pleasant to the touch. Appearance plays a similarly significant role: SuperFabric textiles designed for the army and the aerospace industry are used on the floor and in the trunk. The structure of the material has a thin layer of armored plates, which makes it resistant to cuts with scratches and extremely wear-resistant coating. SuperFabric upholstery is very easy to wash and dry, and the hexagonal lattice pattern provides additional protection.
Technically, the McLaren GT has a 4.0-liter V8 with 620 hp. and 630 Nm. With it operates a 7-speed preselective "robot" SSG. The supercar picks up the first 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds with a maximum acceleration of up to 326 km per hour.
