McLaren officially Discloses 650S Limited Edition
MSO has announced that the 650S Limited Edition will have the 20th encaenia of the McLaren F1 GTR taking over at the world's oldest active sports car race in endurance racing.
The supercar producer says that the outstanding offering takes inspiration from the Chassis #01 F1 GTR which has won the race. Therefore it can be characterized by a roof snorkel and a tiny fender breather holes at its front. The McLaren Special Operations division has endowed the car with special forged wheels, carbon fibber auxiliary gearbox, back bumper and back diffuser and orange brake callipers. The vehicle is finished in MSO outstanding dark blue colour.
There were no changes in mechanics. The 650S Limited Edition is equipped with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo eight-cylinder engine which produces 650 hp (or 478 kW). It takes the coupe only 3 seconds to reach 0-62 mph (or 0-100 km/h). The vehicle can cover the 0-124 mph (or 0-200 km/h) acceleration in 8.4 seconds.
Just 50 units of the Limited Edition will be manufactured. All of them will be coupes.
