Spy Debut of Hazumi Concept from Mazda Before the Official Release
Mazda fans will not have to wait until Geneva presentation to see the Hazumi concept.
The concept is an adherent of the new brand’s Kodo style and was designed to showcase the production model which is soon to come. Hazumi has a lot in common with Mazda6 featuring massive wheels and sharp lines. With the help of the concept the Japanese company tries to display how the future of Mazda dealerships will look like starting from Mazda2.
Engine solution for the concept will also be a novelty. Set to be sold in Europe, the vehicle will feature a turbo diesel motor for 1.5 litres. Meanwhile, the carmaker still tries to cut down the emission figures of its SkyActiv-D engine before the North American release. Installed in Mazda6, the motor has received a lot of negative feedbacks. A more compact variant of it might be seen in Mazda3.
Full specifics will be announced at the official introduction of the Hazumi concept.
