Expect This Year's Mazda CX-5 In Late March
The innovated 2017 CX-5 from Mazda will be priced $490 more than the previous offering.
The vehicle costs $24,985 with destination. It comes standard with front-wheel drive, black cloth-upholstered seats, air conditioning, 17-inch wheels, pushbutton starter, power mirrors and power windows. There also are Smart City Brake Support, LED headlamps, a 40:20:40 split-folding rear seat, power door locks, carpeted floor mats and variable intermittent windshield wipers. Expect also to see Mazda Connect with 7-inch colour touchscreen, back-up camera, 2 USB ports, Commander control-knob-operated infotainment display and Bluetooth phone.
Then the CX-5 Touring comes. It costs $26,855. This model benefits from 6-way power driver’s seat, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, leatherette seating surfaces featuring Lux Suede inserts, rear privacy glass, 6-speaker audio set-up, leather-wrapped helm, and shift handle, heated front seats, illuminated vanity mirrors, dual-zone climate control, a rear centre armrest etc.
Customers can choose the Preferred Equipment Pack. It will be available for $780 more. This package provides a power glass moonroof, a Bose ten-speaker audio set-up, auto-dimming mirrors with Homelink, Centerpoint 2 and AutoPilot2, power liftgate etc. You can also opt for the Touring i-Activsencse Pack. This one adds Lane-Keep Assist, Smart Brake Support, Mazda Radar Cruise Control, High Beam Control etc. for $625.
At the top of the range there is the CX-5 Grand Touring. It will cost $30,335. Together with it you will receive black or parchment leather seats, 8-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, heated exterior mirrors, 19-inch wheels, Sirius XM radio and rain-sensing wipers.
All these offering will be available with a 2.5-litre SkyActiv-G motor and 6-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic gearbox.
