Lotus Evora of 2016 Will Increase its Power
The chief of the Lotus has a suggestion to preserve the company that will produce almost twice the quantity of Lotus vehicles being implemented here every year.
Jean-Marc Gales, the Lotus chief stated in Car & Driver that the automaker will currently focus on suggesting derivatives of its today’s range which are going to be commercially viable with innovated vehicles. The Evora will be dismissed for the 2015, but as soon as in 2016 it will come back with a fully restyled interior, higher power and improvements which will make it simpler to get in and out of.
The leader did not announce all the details about the power enhancement of the 3.5-liter Toyota-sourced six cylinder powertrain, though he stated that there will be no faster vehicles than these ones among the Evora’s competitive. Moreover, he added that there also will be nothing more fun. The Lotus vehicle powertrain can currently produce 350 hp.
As things stand now, the automaker is planning to rely on its current car architecture with the provision to produce meaningful changes to the platform together with modified wheelbases.
After arriving of the restyled Evora in America in 2016, the Lotus executive is going to sell 500 vehicles per year there or almost twice of the quantity the automaker sold last year. The eminent aim factors into his ambition to increase worldwide sales to 3,000 in comparison to the total 1,200 reported back in 2013.
