Lincoln promises to release its first electric car in 2022

Lincoln, Ford's premium brand, has shown a teaser of its first electric car. 

The car will go into production in 2022.

The company chose 2022 to release the first marketable Lincoln with an electric unit for a reason, as the premium brand is celebrating its 100th anniversary next year.

For now, the first name of the Lincoln electric car remains unknown. The exterior of the vehicle reminds prototype Zephyr Reflection shown recently in Shanghai. The novelty will be equipped with a modern design, spacious interior, and a large panoramic roof. Also, the first Lincoln electric car will have a motion indicator on the dashboard with a new infotainment system with Android OS.
