Lincoln promises to make a compact SUV
Lincoln planned made a compact crossover a lot of time ago. The car will be 1 of 5 new company’s products that will be produced in the Middle Kingdom.
Reuters informs that Lincoln will only assemble the car by 2022. In the Middle Kingdom the company will make a hybrid SUV with the revived name Aviator.
The concept of the future car debuted a month ago at the Geneva autoshow. The salon of new car will have 7 seats. The technical part in Aviator is unknown, as they don’t say about the hybrid installation of the model.
Most likely, this installation will include a gasoline twin-turbo V6, that functioning with an electric motor. Assembly of the car will be carried out in the Middle Kingdom at the end of 2019, or in the first months of 2020. The novelty will appear in the model line of the company replacing MKT model.
