Ford Needs Lincoln to Be Produced in China

Fords is going to expand its activities in China with the help of its Lincoln high-end division. This information came in the latest report.

The automaker is said to male China the top market for Lincoln. Besides, it is planning to construct a new export base for all Asian markets selling the premium brand. Volvo is discussing assembling with Changan Automobile Group.

The chief of Global Lincoln stated this January that the brand could add a production line in China if there are large volumes. If everything goes well, the models will be finished in 2020.

The president of Chongqing Changan Automobile stated that currently they are missing a detailed plan. The final agreement between the companies has not been reached yet.

All Lincoln cars are exported to China from North America at the moment. The company’s plan may turn China into the largest brand’s market in the world.
