Preview of Lexus F

A preview of Lexus F has been scheduled before the official release in Detroit in January.

The company reports that the engineering of the new model is innovative and assures that it has inherited all the high performance traditions of F class cars.

Lexus is vague about the relation of the new concept to RC coupé presented in Tokyo in 2013, but it is hinted that the car might be an F class successor to it.

Tokyo actually hosted two presentation of RC coupé: the key RC300h hybrid with an engine for 2.5 litres and RC350 with 6 cylinders and 3.5 litre capacity.

The company announces that the difference between the presented cars and a new concept will imply a higher power capacity of the latter. In it Lexus F will resemble LFA model. The time of the release of BMW M4 is about the same, which makes competition between two new powerful cars inevitable.
