Lexus Introduces the IS500 Ultimate Edition, the Most Exclusive V-8 Model Yet

Exclusive Lexus IS500 Ultimate Edition Launches

Marking its place as the final naturally aspirated V-8 luxury sedan available in the U.S., Lexus is unveiling a special IS500 Ultimate Edition exclusive to the North American region, with production restricted to 500 units.

Distinctive Exterior Features

The Ultimate Edition boasts an exclusive metallic light gray shade dubbed Wind, paired with specially designed 19-inch BBS wheels finished in a refined matte black.

Premium Interior Design

The cabin is appointed with Circuit Red leather complemented by black accents and red seat belts. The seating surfaces utilize Lexus's NuLuxe materials—a combination of faux leather and suede—and a personalized serialized badge on the dashboard highlights the vehicle's exclusivity.

Performance and Additional Upgrades

Under the hood lies the acclaimed 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V-8 engine, delivering 472 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Ultimate Edition also features improved braking with red-painted Brembo six-piston calipers at the front.

While Lexus has not yet announced the pricing for the IS500 Ultimate Edition, it is expected to carry a premium over the standard 2025 model, which starts at $60,595.
